It was a pleasure to design for a company as prestigious as Disney Store. They approached us to create a stunning remarketing campaign based on their hit movie Frozen

Research

Sometimes in life the stars align and for a brief moment, and everything is perfect. That moment came for me when I found myself doing research for work by watching Disney Movies. I picked out the textures, the themes and the colours of the movie and came home from the cinema ready to create the ultimate Frozen email. 
Design

Sometimes in email you choose to create a slim, quick to load email that will get the message across efficiently. But when you are dealing with such lush visuals as the latest Disney movie then it would be criminal not to use it in my design. 

If I have one regret with this design it is that I made the intro text dark, instead of white with a shadow. However, way back in 2013 I wasn't aware of this technique.

Building

Disney had some very specific requests about how they wanted this campaign to be laid out. The multi column layout adds a layer of complexity to the build especially regarding later versions of Outlook. There was also a request for custom buttons that contained an image. This doesn't render with the image across all email clients, but when the image fails there is a backup colour so you would never know the difference.​​​​​​​
